Lara Demaio

Lara Demaio is a lawyer in the Wills and Deceased Estates team, providing comprehensive assistance with estate planning, probate applications, and estate administration. Admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in October 2024, Lara brings valuable experience gained as a paralegal and solicitor since 2022. Her work involves preparing wills, powers of attorney, and enduring guardianship documents, ensuring clients’ wishes are clearly documented. Lara also guides clients through the probate process and applications for letters of administration, offering thoughtful and clear advice during what can be a challenging time. Lara is committed to supporting clients whether they are planning ahead or managing the loss of a loved one, aiming to make them feel informed and confident that their affairs and family are protected. Known for her proactive, clear, and approachable manner, she prioritises frequent communication and honest management of expectations. She finds great meaning in helping clients navigate responsibilities such as estate administration and finalising personal affairs, recognising that these tasks can be overwhelming. Lara also provides assistance with estate litigation and dispute matters, applying a calm and practical approach to more complex issues. Lara is the first lawyer in both her immediate and extended family, an achievement reflecting her dedication and connection to her community. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from The University of Notre Dame Australia and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.
