Rick Barraclough

Rick Barraclough was admitted to legal practice in 1974 and has been serving the Forster Tuncurry community since 1978. With extensive experience in property law, Rick handles a broad range of matters including development, subdivision, conveyancing, finance and security, business formation, sales and acquisitions, commercial and retail leasing, joint ventures, as well as revenue and GST issues. His practice also encompasses civil and commercial litigation, wills, probates, and estates. Over the years, Rick has provided legal support to numerous sporting clubs and voluntary organisations, addressing the diverse challenges that can arise within these entities. Rick is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and brings considerable experience to family law cases, especially those involving complex property issues linked to businesses, family trusts, and other entities. Handling around 300 conveyancing transactions annually, Rick continues to be actively involved in a wide variety of significant and complex property matters, ensuring clients receive knowledgeable and comprehensive legal assistance.
