Lucy Jorgensen

Lucy Jorgensen is a Director at Bakers Jorgensen Lawyers, where she has been a key member since mid-2016. Admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2017, Lucy brings a diverse academic foundation with qualifications that include a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology. In February 2024, Lucy was appointed co-director of the firm, joining founder Chris Baker in leading the practice. She currently leads the property and development team, demonstrating strong capabilities in managing the complexities of property and commercial law. Lucy’s experience encompasses the acquisition and sale of a broad range of properties such as commercial, industrial, retail, and residential. She is well-versed in advising on business and company acquisitions and sales, offering strategic insights to clients navigating these transactions. Her expertise also includes commercial and retail leasing, where she assists clients in understanding and negotiating complex lease agreements. Additionally, Lucy works extensively with property developments, strata titling, and flat land subdivisions, applying a detailed and methodical approach to these matters.
