Raised in Sydney and then Brisbane, Andrew honed his legal acumen in Queensland, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diplomas in Legal Practice and Education. His commitment to professional growth is underscored by his continuing education with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He achieved admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1987, followed by the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1990, and the High Court of Australia in 2010. Throughout his career, Andrew has leveraged his extensive knowledge across diverse areas of law, including personal injuries, professional negligence, and commercial litigation with a focus on building disputes. His practice spans insolvency, general litigation, and involvement in criminal and family law, where he notably served as a rostered Duty and Children's Court Lawyer at Noosa and Maroochydore Magistrates Court. Andrew's legal expertise extends to arts and entertainment law, business and residential conveyancing including leasing, and wills and estate administration and probate practice. His client base includes large insurers, building owners, lessors and lessees, professional bodies, community organisations, as well as a wide array of private clients. His representations range widely from buyers and sellers to executors, other legal firms, and regular personal clients. In addition to practising law, Andrew’s contributions to legal education and community service are noteworthy. He has been actively involved with organisations such as the Eumundi Chamber of Commerce, Eumundi State School P & C, Eumundi Dragons R.U.F.C., Eumundi & District Historical Association, Noosa District Family & Youth Support Centre, and Noosa Community Radio, serving on committees and providing invaluable advice. During his leisure time, Andrew enjoys maintaining the picturesque acreage from which his practice operates. His personal interests include reading, listening to music, and participating in various water sports, with a particular fondness for sailing and scuba diving.
