Zoe Glasfurd

Zoe Glasfurd is a solicitor at AVA Legal, where she has been a valued team member since 2013. Prior to joining the firm, Zoe worked as a Senior Consultant in Ernst & Young’s Perth-based Indirect Tax and Tax Controversy teams. Her background at Ernst & Young involved advising a broad range of large corporate and multinational clients on indirect tax matters, including GST, Research and Development Tax, Customs, and Fuel Tax Credits. She has particular experience relating to the sale and acquisition of mining tenements, businesses, property developments, and import/export transactions, as well as assisting clients with Australian Taxation Office risk reviews and audit processes. Zoe holds a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Australia, alongside a Diploma of Education from the same institution, reflecting her diverse professional foundation. Since joining AVA Legal, Zoe has expanded her expertise to cover a variety of commercial and property law matters. She advises clients on retail, commercial, and industrial lease preparation and negotiation, offers guidance on property and duty obligations, and drafts commercial agreements including building contracts, joint venture, shareholder, partnership, and loan agreements. Additionally, Zoe supports clients in dispute resolution, debt recovery, and liquor licensing matters, bringing practical solutions to complex legal challenges.
