Matthew Fuss

Matthew Fuss is a Partner at Andersons and leads the firm’s civil law team. He began his legal career at Andersons in 2005 while completing his combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice degree. Following admission in 2006, Matthew initially worked in the commercial department, focussing on wills, estates, and property law. In 2008, Matthew transitioned to Andersons’ civil litigation department, where he developed extensive experience in civil litigation and personal injury law. His practice encompasses a wide range of areas including motor vehicle accidents, public liability, workers’ compensation, superannuation, income protection, total and permanent disablement claims, as well as wills and estates matters. Matthews operates out of both the Morphett Vale and Adelaide offices, heading the Morphett Vale branch whilst maintaining leadership of the civil law team across the firm. He is known for his thorough approach to managing claims, understanding that accuracy in detail is crucial since clients often have a single opportunity to pursue a claim. His focus is on guiding and supporting clients through the legal process to optimise their entitlements and allow them to concentrate on their recovery.
