About Andrew
Arul Niles is the Principal of the firm with over 25 years of extensive litigation experience across various courts, including the Federal Court of Australia, Family Court of Australia, Supreme Court of New South Wales, District Court, and Local Court. Holding a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, he is admitted as a solicitor of both the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Since commencing private practice in 1998, Arul has developed broad expertise in transactional matters, drafting and advising on a variety of commercial agreements such as building contracts, information technology contracts, shareholders agreements, pre-nuptial and financial agreements, and franchise agreements. Before entering private practice, Arul spent eight years at the Australian Government Solicitor’s Office, where he acted for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in litigation under the Trade Practices Act and handled major contract disputes involving the Department of Defence and other Commonwealth agencies. Additionally, he has experience prosecuting criminal cases while working with the Director of Public Prosecutions in New South Wales. Andrew Wilson is a solicitor with a strong commercial law background, holding a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, along with a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. Andrew’s career began at Allen Allen and Hemsley (now Allens Arthur Robinson), where he worked as a senior associate, followed by senior roles with major corporations overseas, including BHP. He brings a particular focus on legal risk management and strategic advice for businesses considering mergers or joint ventures. Andrew is a consultant to the firm, providing specialised advice on complex corporate commercial matters. He is a member of the Risk Management Institution of Australasia, a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and a graduate and fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
