William Wang

William Wang serves as the Managing Partner of AHL Legal and brings over 16 years of extensive legal experience. With expertise spanning across family law, criminal law, immigration, and commercial law, he has become a prominent figure within the Chinese Australian community for his profound understanding of legal issues and his innovative use of legal technology. William commenced his legal journey at a boutique firm in Ashfield, focusing on commercial disputes and criminal law. His career saw significant advancement in 2009 with Blake Dawson Waldron, where he contributed to landmark litigation cases, underscoring his capacity in handling complex legal challenges. In 2011, William joined Fragomen LLC as an associate, where he dealt with arbitration appeals and judicial review cases for major corporations including Commonwealth Bank and Infotech. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish WB Legal in 2013. There, he concentrated on family law, commercial litigation, and became a trusted legal advisor to Chinese multinationals like SF Express. William's leadership was instrumental in the merger with JB Solicitors in 2023, creating a robust family law team in Sydney and Melbourne. His commitment to client interests is evident in his approach, always prioritising professional and responsible problem-solving. Beyond legal proficiency, William has contributed to the legal community as a Council Member of the University of New South Wales Federation of Societies and as Vice Chairman of the Ningbo Chamber of Commerce.
