Steven Sue

Steven Sue has been practising immigration law since 2006, bringing considerable experience to his work. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the High Court of Australia, and the High Court of New Zealand, and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales. Prior to co-founding Aditum Legal, Steven gained extensive experience at immigration law firms in Sydney. He has assisted a broad range of clients from diverse backgrounds to secure or maintain their status in Australia, often based on their professional skills or family relationships with Australian citizens or permanent residents. Steven has represented many individuals pursuing refugee protection claims and draws on his own personal experience navigating the migration process, giving him valuable insight into the challenges applicants face. Steven is experienced in handling complex cases involving family reunification, applicants concerned about past immigration history or criminal convictions, and those who have lived in Australia for extended periods without lawful status and now seek to regularise their situation. He has also successfully advocated for clients requiring ministerial intervention following visa refusals. Most of Steven’s work comes through client referrals, reflecting his strong reputation within the community he serves.
