About Janine
Janine was admitted to legal practice in 2021 and has worked exclusively in family law since this time. Prior to her admission she undertook internships with Victoria Police Prosecutions and Victoria Legal Aid as a duty lawyer assisting in Family Violence and Personal Safety Intervention Orders. This exposure has ensured Janine has a broad skill set that that she brings to her family law practice. Janine works in close consultation with Nicole Le Pou to guarantee clients receive consistent, high quality legal services. This collaborative approach to file work means that Janine is constantly building on her already high skill set and refining her approach as an exceptional lawyer. Janine works across all domains of family law, she has experience in complex parenting, child support and high value property matters together with intervention orders. Her trial preparation skills are finely tuned and often commended by counsel working with her in litigation. Clients will find Janine's approach in all matters to be settlement focused , placing a high priority on the best interest of children and ensuring clients feel heard and advocated for. Janine volunteers at a Community Legal Centre, sits on an LIV committee and volunteers at the Magpies Nest.
