Nathan Lu

Nathan Lu is a solicitor director at ABP Lawyers, admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in February 2008. He began his career at one of Australia’s largest full-service corporate law firms, working within their commercial and property practice, before establishing ABP Lawyers. Nathan has extensive experience advising a diverse client base, including small business owners and multinational corporations across a broad spectrum of industries. His advisory work has involved providing commercial lease advice to Singapore Airlines and Hainan Airlines, negotiating distribution agreements for WD-40’s new product lines, assisting Howard Storage World with trading terms and conditions, and supporting semi-government organisations such as the Chinese visa processing centre. He has acted in numerous commercial and property transactions, representing small to mid-sized residential property developers in the sale of off-the-plan apartment buildings, as well as vendors and purchasers in the sale and purchase of small to medium sized businesses. Earlier in his career, Nathan spent over three years advising small and medium sized businesses on business structures, with a particular focus on tax flexibility and asset protection. He also worked with high-net-worth individuals on estate and succession planning matters. Fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin, Nathan combines his background in corporate restructure and taxation with broad commercial and property experience, enabling him to deliver accurate, timely and practical advice tailored to clients’ needs. Outside the office, Nathan enjoys training in Wing Chun Kung Fu, playing tennis, travelling, and spending time with his family.
